Vehicle Stickers

If you live in unincorporated Cook County and own a vehicle or own a business in unincorporated Cook County and keep a vehicle there, you are required to purchase and display a Cook County vehicle wheel tax sticker.

Stickers are valid July 1st through June 30th of the following year. Sheriff's police officers enforce this requirement by ticketing vehicles. Stickers purchased after July 1st are subject to a late fee.

2013 Cook County vehicle wheel tax stickers are available for purchase at the Township office or online via the link at the bottom of the page.

Northfield Township charges an additional $5.00 processing fee per sticker.

Seniors who purchased a vehicle wheel tax sticker between 2006-2012 and own the same vehicle are not required to purchase a new sticker.
